NOTHING

MORE THAN

MAINSTREAM

Hello!

My name is Rebecca, but most people these days call me Bea. My story begins somewhere around 2008. I got dumped by a boy and decided to try some retail therapy to cheer me up. I bought my first camera.

It’s amazing what a Canon Rebel can do for a person. I realized I didn’t care for him much, but I really loved taking pictures. My new found love of photography led me to quit my job in corporate America. Two and a half years later, I found myself with my MFA and a new career ahead. During my last year of school, I started dating a guy who was the actual love of my life. Then before I knew it, I was packing my bags after 31 years on the East Coast and was heading West.

For the last 13 years, I have called Montana home. It’s where my roots are growing for my own family. It’s been a fun journey as has my experience with photography. I have shared many precious moments with families at weddings, special events, and parties. Recently, I have also started exploring the art side of photography.

I consider myself, pretty average and find comfort in that. I'm not trying to push any molds or trying to create avant garde art. What I do have is an interest in people and authenticity. I appreciate the ordinary. I'm fascinated by pop culture and how it impacts our lives whether we are aware of it or not. If you're looking for the latest trends you won't find them here. After all, I've had the same hair style since age four and I'm been living in hoodies and Chuck Taylors since my 20's.

My name is Bea Chiappelli, and I am nothing more than Mainstream.
